Who we are

J3f Ltd ("we", "us") is a UK company providing IT services, operating the website j3f.uk. We are the data controller for personal data described here. Contact us at support@j3f.uk.

What we collect and why

• Contact details you send us (name, email, phone, company) — to reply to enquiries and deliver IT services.
• Client and billing records (contact details, job descriptions, invoices) — to run the engagement and meet UK accounting obligations.
• Account data for our admin portal (email address, secure password hash) — to protect access to business records.
• Essential cookies — to keep the site working and to remember your cookie choice. No analytics or marketing cookies run unless you accept them.

Lawful bases

We rely on contract (delivering services you ask for), legitimate interests (running and securing our business), legal obligation (tax and accounting records) and consent (optional cookies, which you can withdraw at any time via "Manage cookies").

Processors we use

• Lovable Cloud (database, authentication and hosting infrastructure for this site).
• Our email provider, for correspondence sent to and from support@j3f.uk.

We do not sell personal data. Where a processor operates outside the UK, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Client, job and invoice records are kept for 7 years to meet UK tax requirements. Admin accounts are kept while the portal is in use.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@j3f.uk and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
